Overnight heavy rain which resulted in the pitch being underwater and the lines being taken away on Friday night resulted in the reserves game against Barnham being postponed on Saturday in a frustrating situation for first team boss Gareth Davies, the reserves were to be boosted with some first team squad members with a view to building up fitness ahead of a busy period for the club over Xmas but that opportunity was washed away by the weekends horrendous weather, 'It's a shame because we had a strong squad and a side we were confident could do well, we had little choice though with the amount of games coming up at Jubilee Avenue and now have to look ahead to the reserves game at Steyning on Saturday where we hope to be able to do the same, making the squad really competitive.'
