Steve Collins and Paul Bird kept in tact their 100% record with an impressive victory over Pagham on Saturday, in a weekend that saw the Reserve Section West open right up with some favourable results for the Blues. Richy Moss (2) and Chris Kirkham were the goal scorers in an encouraging performance from the home side which came after consecutive victories against Southwick and Forest, 6 points now separate the top 7 sides and with a quarter final place up for grabs this weekend against Barnham in the Vernon Wentworth Cup, the Blues have every right to be buoyed by recent performances and look forward to an exciting month of fixtures in December.
The Reserves are likely to be at full strength on Saturday with the added bonus of the inclusion of some regular first teamers as the club look to defend the Vernon Wentworth Cup for a record 4th season, Saturday's game kicks' off at 130pm at home.
