Ross Adams and Paul Bird both suffered broken ankles this weekend in a horrible day for the club on Saturday, Ross Adam remains in hospital and is likely to stay in until Wedensday after x-rays showed that he suffered a dislocation and double break to his right ankle.
Paul Bird is also in plaster and faces a long lay off from action. Adams injury was a total accident and resulted in a awkward landing when challenging for a header when he came on as substitue replacing Chris Couzens at Sidlesham, the injury held play up for almost an hour as a paramedic unit then a trauma specialist from St Richards Hospital treated the horrendous injury, he is now in Chichester hospital where his injury is being treated.
Everyone at Rustington FC wishes both players a speedy recovery.
